Rapper and producer, Dot Dev, collaborated with me on their new project, There Was A Wind, But No Chime. Previously known as Pink Navel, the release of this project under their new moniker marked a new direction for them as an artist. The album covers autobiographical topics and reflects on reinvention and self-discovery. When Dev and I spoke about capturing photos for this project, it was important for them to be photographed in a New England neighborhood that felt close to home. The pictures complement the more serious topics in this release, while still adding natural, bright elements that goes with their playful sound and nature.
